Frazier Smith

I'm a dedicated learning professional with eight years of experience managing, designing, developing, communicating, and implementing small and large-scale learning experiences, skilled in determining client needs and ensuring growth and compliance through comprehensive reporting and analysis.

What I Do

Instructional Design

As an Instructional Designer, my passion is finding out where people want to go and designing the bridges that can get them there. Whether the end user wants to learn how to be an effective manager or use their technology more effectively, I work to identify the gap and design the tools to close it!

Technology

I've always been extremely passionate about technology of all types. When I was growing up, my parents let me take apart everything (including the toaster) to find out how it worked. As I have found new challenges throughout my career, I look for opportunities to "open up the toaster" and learn new skills to meet end user needs.

Speaking and User Education

I've spoken recently at conferences on the topics of technology integration into the classroom, using open source technology in eLearning development, implementing legacy technology into Learning and Development workflows, and how to implement newly-launched technology products as a custom electronics installer.

Programming

While I don't have professional experience in programming, I've volunteered and freelanced to develop multiple mobile apps utilizing both Android and iOS. On the mobile development side, I've used Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, and Flutter. On the web applications side, I've utilized Node.js, React, and Express. I've done enough work with Oracle DB, MS SQL, and Postgres to be dangerous.
